Mom volunteered some tarts for the Kennewick High School bake sale and I got to bake them - really it was a treat for me. I never get to bake like this with three little ones at home. So I made two lemon tarts and then two of these strawberry rhubarb tarts. We kept one to eat.
The recipe came from
The Greyston Bakery Cookbook - one of my new favorites.

That looks freaking amazing. I want to eat it right now . . . .
I've been wanting to bring you goodies Libbie - just give me a list!
I'll give you a list! This looks so good! I love strawberries! We have an amazing strawberry field down the street that should be harvesting soon. I'll have to get your recipe so i can attempt your masterpiece. ps I was of course blogging last night, Jeff woke up @2:16 a and was wide awake and happy as can be until 4:02a. needless to say, I am definitely kicking myself today.

Really, don't we all love a little validation?
